help please

ok so I bought a s5 esn and everything was clean went to activate it and the lady said my hex was fine but my dec isn't and that I can Google the editor codes to fix that because its an s5 she helped my boyfriend with his but not with mine and im getting pissed because I cant use my phone yet and because the hands free activation wont stop popping up...... she said that my phone was flagged for shipment lost or something like that and that I can get the codes online idk what code she is talking about though.... or how to do all that can some one please. please. please. help me also it keeps saying the sim card has locked please power cycle the device and if problem persists contact customer service my sim card is bran new just got it ....... one more thing when I got the sim the guy at sprint said ill need to read off the number on the sim card.... but my boyfriend didn't
