[Q] read/write to ext sd problems lollipop

Im running the skydragon 3.0.1 rom, and my ext sd is non functioning. I made sure the platform xml file is configured correctly, as well as the permissions. Its still a no go. I can however, move and delete/ create files in TWRP. Any help would be appreciated, as my ext sd was working, now is not. I even tried flashing a new rom. Still nothing.
