google apps on a fire tv with no root

is it possible to install gapps on the fire tv thats not rooted? If so, what apk's are needed? I'm trying to run a few apps that ask for a google account (nba jam). I thought I read somewhere that a few apks are needed to run those type of apps but I can't find the topic now.
