I dont know about any of you, But when @Skin1980 Ported over the first release of MultiRom, I loved it, And I used it for alot of testing. Problem was after searching though the docs on its flags and uses,
I found a few mistakes that @Skin1980 left out. But thats ok. He didnt have a d851 at the time from my understanding. (My reason I wont port to any device I dont own),
Anyhow. The Hype was way up. Then Went way down. I even uninstalled it. Seems like Mr @Skin1980 left us all in the dark. So I wanted to bring it back, But I wasnt sure how to do it.
After some teaching from @nvertigo67 (Samsung Galaxy S Tab 10.5 ) Device. On how to port/Build Roms, I successfully Built CM12 and Resurrection Remix for the Samsaung Galaxy S Tab 10.5.
Then I started to learn the kernel code. Yes I modified a few kernels as well.. But to make a long story short. after enough Builds, and alot of reading. I finally figure I would take a crack at the MultiRom
again. It was kinda of a pain Because I never built with Omnirom tree before. its always been CM/RR tree's.. But
I successfully built a MultiRom for the LG G3 (D851)..
If anyone would like to test it, Please do. Now I didnt patch the kernel yet. you will need to get your hands on the kexec hardboot Kernel.. I know a few are still out there.
I would list the page, But im kinda in a hurry right now, so dont have time to seach for it. But ill see what I can do. I know I still have an older OC kernel with the patch if needed..
Anyhow. This is only for Testing.. Please Tell me how things went.. I only tested the Recovery version part. I did not install multirom at this time.
In my eyes, As long as the recovery didnt brick my device, Then I figure the other tests are less dangerous.. And since the Recovery worked 100% for me.. Then im giving this a GO.
a few things need to be changed in upcomming builds of the recovery, I at this time Only, Took the @Skin1980 github device source and used that ( for testing )
Now that I know it works. Ill tweak it, so that it will work more beneficially..
