G2 stuck at headphone connection loop....

Hi all

Just to mention,, this past week I went on vacation and put the phone in airplane mode and stop the data transmission.. I use the head phone to listen to music but when I disconnect the head phone, the phone started to loop on and off the head phone connection display and this stop only by plugging back the head phone.... I am back from vacation put the data on and disabled the airplane mode and so far the loop connection stop !!!!!!

(being on a beach my first impression was the sand got in the head phone jack connection ?????)
