Dear XDA-users.
I think most of you’ve heard, know about user with nickname BurgerZ, who is the author of such good applications as Weather BZ, WSM Tools, and MIUI translator.
Not a long time ago there was polling about porting MIUI v6 and the winner is Nexus 5. This are great news and BurgerZ is ready to start porting it to Nexus 5 but he doesn’t have it.
For now, there was announced fundraising for purchasing this device for BurgerZ, this activity will last 30 days, and at the end of fundraising BurgerZ will have Nexus 5 (if there will be enough funds), or if there will be not enough funds, all gathered fund will be returned, as written in announcement, and MIUI v6 will be ported on another device.
I don’t have no relation to BurgerZ’s team, I’m just Nexus 5 owner and I really want MIUI v6 port of a good quality and continues support on our device, so that is I’m just interested in porting it on Nexus 5.
Xiaomi Company is not interested in porting it on Nexus 5, because they are busy with their own devices.
Total needed amount of money is 25 000 rubles, it is approximately 370 euros and 405-410 dollars. Fundraising was started YESTERDAY, and for today collected 1800 rubles, i.e. less than 10%.
