Accessing the phone memory via ADB with non-working screen

My S3 lcd (I think) took a crap over the weekend. I can power it on and get the blue blinking LED it normally does during boot, then eventually the capacitive buttons will light up when I hit the power or home keys, but nothing on my screen-black as night.

When I plug my phone into the computer, it will charge but the computer doesn't see the phone as being plugged in, and adb doesn't see the phone either.

I can get into Download mode via down vol/ home/ power (Odin recognized the phone), so I assume I can get into Recovery.

I'm running the latest TWRP.

  • Are there any options in TWRP that will activate USB debugging mode so the computer can see the memory and I can grab my files?

  • If not, how about in CWM?

  • Never tried this before because I could use touch, but can you navigate the TWRP menus via Volume Rocker / Power/ Home?

Any help would be appreciated.
