First of all a huge kudos to @Albe95 for his collection of Note 4 ported apps.

And I am using his Lockscreen/keyguard.apk for this purpose (works fine even though its not for s3)
It really bothered me that why WHY can't I have the cool lockscreen effects of Note 4 even after installing the Note 4 keyguard and Settings too. I was limited just 4 effects : Abstract Tiles (constant fc), Ripple, Popping colors and ink one. Though they were good I wanted more.. So I started digging and eventually found something.
Stuff Needed
Albe95's Note 4 Lockscreen aka keyguard.apk ( optional Note 4 Settings)
Database editor (I use SQLite Editor. Others may work too)
Root Access
Steps
-Install keyguard.apk by replacing the old one.
-Reboot.
-Open your SQLite Database Editor
-Open Settings Storage settings.db file
-Open system
-Search for 'lockscreen_ripple_effect' (without quotes)
-And you may find one entry (if not found, search for lock and find something similar)
-Change its value from 0-9
Any Greater Value Results in constant keyguard.apk Force Close
Bugs
Just one downside, it dosen't stick. If you reboot, you'll be back to the effect you applied before changing the value. And also if you open Settings->LockScreen, though you will see the new effects name, after exiting it will be reverted back to the original one.
