No Root access but Xposed works

So flashed a pre rooted firmware, flashed SuperSU, RICDefeat and ByeSELinux - but when the phone booted, there is no SuperSU, and no root. Although Xposed is installed, I can not for the life of me get SuperSu to realise that there is root
