So... perhaps your OnePlus One has the same crappy vibrating motor like mine... which makes it very difficult to feel in the pocket, but is loud as f*** when you're indoors.
It's the same issue these guys are debating over here.
Also, best described in this video.
My OnePlus One doesn't have the Cyanogen branding... but the dude in that video clearly shows that his replacement (with a proper vibrating motor) still has the Cyanogen logo... Which makes me believe OnePlus didn't learn sh*t from their mistakes and carried on using the same sh*tty vibrating motor in the new batch of phones (no logo).
I'm thinking the vibrating motor takes the same voltage input and has basically the same specifications like (almost) all modern smartphone models. Which means... I can basically tear the phone apart and install a vibrating motor from a Galaxy Note 3 (which is freaking awesome, by the way) instead?
I'm not advanced enough to do this on my own, so I ask you guys. Perhaps there are some of you here who are more knowingly on this matter and could provide valuable input. Would this be possible? Perhaps you tried it yourself? Please chime in!
Thanks in advance and... yeah, I know it's a long post :p
