Nexus 5 Bluetooth issue

Play music keeps firing up after I hangup from a call. Really annoying. My headset doesn't even have music controls so it doesn't make sense. How do I stop this behavior? Nexus 5 with stock 5.1 paired to a plantronics marquee 2 m165
