[Q] Update moto G from 4.4.4 to 5.0.2 with locked bootloader

Hi, i bought this phone in Claro (im from argentina), and it has the kitkat version (4.4.4).

i took a look in the forum and i saw this firm that seems easy to install (just put in the SD and update): http://ift.tt/1yhIOn7, but then i read that maybe i can lose the signal and i have to flash the modem, and searching a little more i found this: http://ift.tt/1FvfoLj.

i want to know if i follow the steps from the 2 posts it will work, or what is the best way to update it without unlocking the bootloader (i want to keep the warranty for now, the phone has les than a week).
