[Q] Does ElementalX Kernal work on Nexus 5 running resurrection remix

Help!!! I just flash resurrection remix on my Nexus 5 love it. But my battery life sucks I only get 3hrs of screen on time I was told that a ElementalX Kernal will improve my battery. IS it true and is it safe to flash it on resurrection remix rom
