Needs Full Android 5.0 SD card Writing access with latest API

Hello MX user and developer,



I am sure this topic has been discussed before in relation to Android 5.0 +.



I always use latest MX Player version on Android an I am (as of this topic-open date) currently using MX Player 1.7.38 on my Android 5.01 , HTC One M8 device

So how comes MX Player is not using the new Android API for the storage access framework (SAF) to be able to use the document picker which would enable users to write/rename/delete videos on their SD card?



Few other File managers such as Solid Explorer and Es File Explorer now support this same method for allowing writing to the SD card on Android 5.0 devices after previously being restricted on the Android 4.4 platform.
