My phone freezes up every few minutes. All the hardware buttons works while this frozen period and what doesn't work while this frozen period are touch and capacitive buttons. Locking and Unlocking gets my phone back to normal state. Took it to the LG Service Center and what they said was touch is in good shape but there might be some problem in the hardware and it ll cost about Rs.9800/- to replace the motherboard as they don't have any particular spare parts. So if there are any ways to fix this problem please let me know.
Mine is a nearly 3 years old mobile. I had been using Stock Gingerbread for the past 8 months or so, before that used a few custom roms. This problem started from last week. So i first thought it was a software side bug so updated it to ICS using "LGMobile Support Tool". Still had the same problem so i did a factory reset and still the problem remains.
