App Ops not working and 24/24 drain

Hello. A couple of days ago I flashed Purity 5.0.2 out of curiousity and I love it. It's fast in UI and I also love the layers made for it. Now, it seems like App Ops doesn't work on this version of Android. When I run the app it's stuck loading and it never gets done, after a while I get the message "App Ops stopped running".



Another problem I'm facing is this battery drain from Play Services, more exactly it's a wakelock called SystemUpdateService. I tried disabling all it's receivers and services using the adb shell commands. Still no change.



Any advices?
